7th Grade Chorus is a class in choral techniques designed for the student who wishes to develop his/her singing ability. Students will learn various musical selections which will be performed in concerts twice a year.
Students in 7th Grade Chorus meet for 90 days throughout the school year as follows:
Session 2 - 23 consecutive classes
Activity 2 - 23 classes, but taking place on Wednesday and Friday (Activity classes take place over the span of 45 days/1 quarter)
Session 6 - 23 consecutive classes
Activity 4 - 23 classes, but taking place on Wednesday and Friday (Activity classes take place over the span of 45 days/1 quarter)
Grading:
Class Participation = 50% (see attached participation rubric for grading details)
Concert Attendance/Performance = 50% (can be comprised of tests, quizzes, and/or workpackets)
For session 2 and 6, grades will be based on %100 participation.
